Cagayan de Oro City - The New Registry of Deeds Building

Registry of Deeds of Cagayan de Oro City

If you are a bank appraiser, a real estate broker, lot owners, lot buyers, appraisal companies, who are not from Cagayan de Oro City and wandering and perhaps not familiar where the location of the Registry of Deeds of this City is. Here's your alternate guide for your itinerary in transacting business with this office.

This is now the new building site of the Registry of Deeds for the City of Cagayan de Oro . It is located at the back of the Hall of Justice, at the back of the Xavier University - Ateneo de Cagayan and fronting the City Health Office.

Their new counter. You may get a request form for a certain transaction at the counter with an arrow mark shown at the counter glass wall.

The Registry of Deeds today is still in the process of digitizing their documents (title) for its new adopted system as recommended by the Policy Making Body. According to the staff here, allegedly after they are finished with the digitization process/system, you can get your Certified True Copy of title or any documents, while you wait on that same day (about 1 hour approximate) you transacted your request. That's sounds great, maybe?

Are you familiar with the Cogon Public Market of Cagayan de Oro City? From there, the ROD is just a walking distance of about 500 meters more or less or you can pass through Ororama Superstore, then at the back of Xavier University and the German Doctor's hospital. Or from Bus terminal, you may hire a taxi for P60-75 fare in going to this office. From the Domestic Airport of Lumbia, Cagayan de Oro City, you may spend for a taxi fare at P150-175 pesos for 45-minute ride. But, remember, do not engage with a "pakyaw" system or contract-system of taxi (preference of not using the taxi - meter), you might spend a double with a short distance travel from airport to the registry of deeds. Try to negotiate first by using the taxi meter. They are not allowed not to use the taxi meter, because we all know that's illegal.

For further inquiries, you may call them at their posted telephone number: 08822-722-0875.

Monastery of the Transfiguration of Malaybalay City-The Place of Sacredness, Solemnity and Solitude

The "SYMMETRY OF REFLECTION"
The "TRIPOD CONCRETE DESIGNED SUPPORT BELLS"
THE PYRAMID TYPE--DESIGNED CHURCH

The well maintained lawn mowered bermuda grass.

THE SURROUNDINGS- A TOUCH OF NATURE

THE "ROCK"-ALTAR

THE DRIFT WOOD PODIUM STAND

The Monastery of the Transfiguration

Monastery of the Transfiguration Church : As residents in the area, we could fairly say that it is a sacred place, solemn and private.

We prefer to go to the Monastery of the Transfiguration Church to hear mass because of its incomparable solemnity. We could personally feel the presence of our Savior, feel the silence of the place and can also even feel the calmness of our mind and spirit. No doubt, the monks choose this location as their permanent residence.

Since 1995, Me and my wife, started to go to this place to hear mass every Sunday. Aside from its solemnity, it is also because of its green scenery, a personal touch of nature and the coolness of its climate.

It offers us with a well maintained "bermuda" grass landscape with ornamental plants in the surroundings.

They also have a unique architecturally formed pyramid type structure with perfectly designed cut pine ceiling panels, with rock altar suspected to be from a molten lava from an undisclosed erupted volcano in the area and a drift wood podium stand in front of the altar.

Every 2nd Sunday of the month, a regular community breakfast and lunch or most commonly known as "BRUNCH with the MONKS", will be served with an affordable rate, since the mass starts at exactly 8:00 a.m. and ends at 9:15 a.m. This would be a great deal for family outdoor event. Some wanting to get married, prefer this place as their wedding venue. Personal appointment with the in-charge is recommended for proper arrangement of wedding entourage.

If we have some extra of our graces, we give it as our "offering", with sincerity and humility.

For Visitors, this is your location guide:

You can reach this place by taking a ride on a "multicab" at almost 8 kilometers from the Poblacion proper of Malaybalay City or at about 15 minutes ride from the Provincial Capitol Ground.

The pyramid type structure is a world renowned structure today because of the Facebook, and other social media where a picture taking, once you are in the place, is a must for a life time worth souvenir and of course one of unique experiences in our life.

Commission on Audit

The Provincial Satellite Office of the Commission on Audit

The COA Provincial Satellite Office is also constructed within the Capitol Ground of Malaybalay City. One of the newest building the City had. The architectural design were one of the most modern among the buildings in the City. The natural sunlight that penetrates through its high transparent fixed glass on "analok" aluminum frame and it is installed at the facade of the building. The design in my own opinion as engineer with knowledge in architectural design, is in compliance with the climate change program and green evolution such as energy conservation because of the natural lighting effect in the office.

In this type of design, the lighting fixtures would now be turned off in order to save energy. This can be best described as Green Houses as sustainable buildings like in Chicago.

Location guide :

If you happen to visit my blog, the office building is accessible through a motorela ride at a cost of P6.00 from the Bus Terminal. It is located near the Development Bank of the Philippines Building and the newly constructed Hall of Justice of Bukidnon Building.

Freedom Park at Daylight

Accessibility: Just take a ride with motorela to the site.About 10 minutes ride from the Bus Terminal which is approximately 700 meters up to the park.

The Freedom Park of Malaybalay City (click here Malaybalay City to see my other shots). This is a venue of all social activities here in the City. Constructed with a semi - dome covered multipurpose court, steel curved frame structure with reinforced concrete support. Located at Barangay 4, Poblacion,- before the site of San Isidro College of Barangay Impalambong. According to the old folks and travellers, the Freedom Park is formerly the Public Market and Bus Terminal of the said City way back in early 1980s. This is one of the significant landmarks of the City with which it has a historical milieu. It is located about 300 meters West of the San Agustine Cathedral and the Plaza Rizal.

Freedom park has 2 basketball courts, a tennis court and a multipurpose stage. Located at the back of it is the very own City Health Office. If we notice, there are trees planted on its periphery and a landscape of ornamental plants well maintained by the Barangay folks and official in front of the said building.

Ornamental plants enhanced the architectural beauty of the building
